Di Masso family is one of the most representative pastry manufacturers in Abruzzo. We are in Scanno, an ancient and charming hamlet in the National Park Mountains, on the shores of the Lake Scanno. Here the brothers Angelo, Giulio and Alessandro successfully continue the old family tradition and produce traditional pastries only made with high quality natural ingredients.
Here are some specialities: stuffed or cooked must mostaccioli biscuits, PanDolciotto (Abruzzo honey soft cake), Cerasella di Scanno (Lake Scanno almond and cherry short crust pastry cake) and a wide range of biscuits, shortbreads and leavened cakes. One of the most important product is Pan dell’ Orso, almond and honey cake, covered with chocolate and inspired to what in the past wives used to make for their husbands leaving for transhumance.
