“Dolci e Sapori d’Abruzzo” has come out as a traditional desserts and biscuits craft business.

The owner Antonio Gentile was able to enrich this dessert range in order to satisfy a lot of pizzella lovers: from crunchy to soft pizzella, chocolate pizzella, pizzella filled with Montepulciano grape jam, cooked grape must, walnuts and many other products for a very wide and original range.
The main product of the business is Pizzella (also known as ferratella, cancella, neola or nuvola).
Traditional dessert of Abruzzo, it is a biscuit wafer cooked in an iron double plate, which its name come from. It is cooked on the stove and the plate gives it the particular decorated wafer shape.
The most classical shape is rectangular, but it is possible to find flower, heart and even triangular shaped pizzelle.
